As a leading training provider we support some of the best emerging talent – including trainee doctors, medical students, postgraduate and undergraduate paramedics, trainee nurses and physician associates. Our practices have been training for many years and our trainers undertake continual professional development to ensure the best possible guidance, advice and training is delivered.
We value students coming to us and we aim to create a supportive learning environment providing opportunities which form the basis of their practice, so they reach their full potential. Each student receives a personalised induction timetable flexible enough to allow for some variation when taking into account their learning needs.
Being a recognised training provider enhances the quality of the medical care that we provide at the practice. It also enables patients to see a wider range of clinicians whilst allowing the surgery to benefit from new ideas and approaches.
Volunteering
If you have some spare time each week and would like to help Beacon deliver high quality care to our patients please get in touch. Volunteering can make a real difference to our patients and can be equally rewarding for you. You may want to learn a new skill, bring your existing knowledge and experience to help our community, or just have a caring nature – you will be making a huge contribution by volunteering.
